    Homework assignments will be due at the beginning of class one week after they are assigned, unless otherwise specified. Expect about 7 homework assignments. See policies for information on collaboration.

Late assignments will not be accepted.

There will also be an in-class midterm and an in-class final (see Exams).

Your grade will be determined as follows:

  • Homework: 50%
  • Midterm: 20%
  • Final: 30%
