There will be weekly homework assignments,
due at the beginning of class one week after they are assigned,
unless otherwise specified. Expect about 6-7 homework assignments. See
policies
for information on collaboration. Late assignments will not be accepted. There will also be an in-class midterm and an in-class final. The midterm will be on Monday, November 5, 2001. The final is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 14, 2001 from 8:30-10:20 a.m. in MGH 231(same classroom as rest of the quarter). Please keep these days free because there will not be any makeups allowed. Your grade will be determined as follows:
