Prerequisites: Math 126 and CSE 143.

Textbook: Kenneth H. Rosen, Discrete Mathematics and its Applications, Fourth Edition, McGraw-Hill, 1999.

Reading assignment: Sections 1.1 - 1.3.

Grading: The course grade will be based on homework (40%), a midterm exam (20%), and a final exam (40%). All percentages are approximate. The final exam is scheduled for 8:30 - 10:20 a.m. Friday, December 10, 1999.
