Course Staff/Office Hours
In addition to the staff contact information, this page contains the most up-to-date listing of staff office hours. Office hours are
subject to change, but we'll try to keep this page accurate at least a week into the future.
There will be both remote and in-person office hours. EITHER WAY, fill out the Office Hours Queue Signup only after you enter. All in-person hours are hybrid, so you can join the Zoom meeting and add yourself to the queue for those as well! When you, do indicate in the form if you are attending in-person or virtually. Enter Zoom meetings through Zoom. You can see your spot in the queue at the Current Queue Status.
Below, office hours for the course staff are listed. R stands for remote, and IP stands for in-person (with a hybrid option). CSE refers to the Allen Center (the old CS building), and CSE2 refers to
the Gates Center (the new CS building). Breakout refers to the open corner areas in CSE.

Hi! I'm Alex, and I graduated from UW CSE ~3.5 years ago. After completing my master's degree specializing in machine learning and theoretical computer science last year, I was fortunate enough come back (virtually) to UW to teach this course in Summer 2020. In my free time, I enjoy playing any racket sport (tennis, badminton, ping pong, etc.), travelling, watching Netflix, and I recently started cooking more. Feel free to come to my OH or schedule a time with to talk about anything above or anything else (probability, TAing, interning, grad school, etc.) - I'd love to meet everyone!

Hey, Alex here. I'm a junior and am looking forward to finally being able to have classes in person again. In addition to loving the theory side of Computer Science and double majoring in Math, I also enjoy low level program (C/C++), so whether you have questions about this class or 351/333, feel free to ask me. When I'm not coding up a storm or solving a math proof, I enjoy playing video games and hiking with my dog Jax (in the photo). Recently this last year I've also been practicing cooking, so if you're in need of any recipie suggestions, I might be able to provide.

Hi everyone! I'm Paul, a senior in the computer science major and 3rd time returning TA, previously having taught 373 and 413. I'm a Pokemon superfan, and love to travel, draw, take wildlife photos, ski, play tennis and Smash Ultimate, and (gasp) solve Leetcode problems. 312 is awesome because it prepares you for machine learning and teaches you how to count cards, though I'm still pretty bad at card games... Feel free to ask me about anything from interview prep to raising a bearded dragon lizard. Super excited to work with everyone and explore the more mathy side of CS!
