Hello everyone! My name is Vatsal and I am a sophomore studying Human Centered-Design Engineering. I’ve lived in Issaquah WA all my life, so I am pretty used to the PNW. This will be my third time TAing for this class, and I am super excited for it!
When I’m not working, I love to read, listen to music, play games, and learn new recipes to cook. Also recently, I have been getting into making coffee. I still really like the idea of instant, but making it yourself is kinda fun.

Hey! I’m Karen and I’m majoring in Computer Engineering with a minor in business. Outside of school, I like boxing, the Scream movies, kpop, visiting new cafes, and making hyperspecific spotify playlists. This will be my 8th time TAing for CSE163, I look forward to meeting y’all!
Khanh Buishe/her
My name is Khanh, and this is my third quarter as a TA and I’m thrilled to be here!! I am fascinated by the intersection between data science and brain sciences, and I’m currently conducting research at Basso Lab and Brunton Lab. Outside of my studies, I love to paint about beauty of women and advocate for women’s rights. I’m excited to get to know all of you and feel free to come to me and have some great conversations about science, art, or anything else that piques our interests. Cheers!

Hey, I’m Iris! I’m a senior majoring in Mathematics interested in Statistics and Data Science. Siqi (Iris) Maoshe/her
I am a junior student who majored in psychology, and I am also a member of the UW CCDL Lab. My current focus is on a research project that combines machine learning and memory. Both throwing around the frisbee and hitting the gym are two of my favorite ways to pass the time. When I’m feeling worried, I find that playing sports helps me relax. In addition to that, one of my hobbies is photography, and at the moment I’m studying how to manipulate colors in Lightroom.

Hello! My name is Jainaba, and I am an Informatics major. CSE163 has been my favorite class at UW so far since we learn about Data Programming techniques and how ethical some of those techniques are. I enjoyed it so much, that I chose to return again this quarter to TA. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking and binge-watching Netflix (Gilmore Girls, The 100, and Fairly Odd Parents).
