Horror Game Review

Layer-of-Fears

My favorite game of all time. The displays and musics in this game are wonderful. In this game, we take control as an artis who will be navigates through a Victorian mansion. Through the exploration, we will also get to know the artist's story. Unlike other horror games, Layers of Fear doesn't include lots of jump scare. Yet, the story and the atmospher of the game still give me the fanstastic gaming experience.

Never-Ending-Nightmare

What really amazed me is that Neverending Nightmares is a game inspired by the developer's actual battle with mental illness. In this game, you play as a man Thomas, who "wakes up" from one nightmare and into another. By escaping through different monsters in each nightmare, we can feel the pressure and helplessness of the people who has mental illness.

Outlast

Outlast is one of the very first horror games I have ever played. When I first get in touch with this type of game, I was obsessed by jumpscare this type of thing (it's weird I know). After playing horror games for several years, I personally feel bored toward games involving zombie and jumpscare. Yet it's still a really amazing game.
