Hey everyone, I'm Quinton! I'm currently in my second year at UW studying Geography Data Science and this will be my first quarter TA'ing for CSE 154!

I took this class last fall and really loved the course so I decided to TA for it as soon as I could after taking it! I'm looking forward to meeting and working with you all this quarter!

Tips to Succeed in 154

Follow along with the coding during lecture! It helps you stay engaged during those early classes, understand everything going on, and get more practice with the same things you will be doing during section and on the assignments.
Start the assignments early and READ THE SPEC! The assignments are designed to take time and effort, so starting early, making sure you fully understand what you need to do, and working on them over time will help you understand the material better and give you more time to ask questions if you get stuck.
Go to section! Section is a great place to get help on the assignments, ask questions about the material, and get to know your classmates. It's also a great way to get to know your TA and get some face time with them.
Use the resources and ASK FOR HELP! There are a lot of resources available to you, including the CSE 154 website, the CSE 154 Staff, and ED. Use them often and to your advantage!
