Hello! My name is Tia-Jane and I'm a second-year CS major with a minor in violin
performance. I'm really glad you chose to take this class--it's incredibly useful
and absolutely worth the effort you put in. I'm excited to get to know
you and see what projects you create!

MY ADVICE FOR SUCCESS
Plan to spend more time than you expect
rereading the spec before submitting. It's easy to overlook the smaller details, and
even small details can take a while to implement correctly. It's never
fun to stress over unexpected bugs right before the deadline!
Get comfortable with Chrome DevTools. Knowing how to use
the inspector tools can save you so much time and confusion if you know where to
look. If you're not sure where to look, please feel free to ask!
console.log() everything if you're at your wit's end.
As a student, there were times when I was completely lost on what could have gone wrong in my
program. In these situations, spamming console.log() statements throughout my code to see
which ones were reached was incredibly helpful, and usually revealed the source of my error.
Often, I had just made a silly (but tricky-to-catch) mistake like a typo.
MY CHICKENS
I grew up with pet chickens and spent all of my time playing with them before I came to
college. I hope you enjoy these videos of my talented hens.
