About Me
Hi! I am currently a combined BS/MS student in the Allen School studying Computer Science. I like exploring the intersection of design and engineering, and human-computer interaction is an area that always fascinates me.
Besides coding, I am also passionate about CS education. This is my second time TAing for CSE 154, and I have been a TA for CSE 163 (Intermediate Data Programming- highly recommend you to check it out!) for about seven quarters in the past. I am very excited to be back TAing for this class since I have used a lot of skills from it ever since I took it in Spring 2019 in my teaching career as well as internship experiences. I am more than happy to talk more about those if you reach out!
During my free time, I like watching anime and video game playthrough videos on YouTube. I also enjoy crocheting 🧶 and I have made a lot of different things like sweaters, hats, shawls, hats, vests, etc.

CSE 154 Tips
- Start your assignments early! Though CSE 154 is a fun class, it also requires a lot of work. The assignments are involved but rewarding, and they follow one another with tight turnarounds, so it can get really stressful if you are procrastinating until the very last day to start your assignment!
- Read (and re-read) the spec, VERY CAREFULLY. The spec could be overwhelming to read at first since they include a lot of details. I would recommend taking screenshot of the spec and try highlighting important information in your own note-taking tools (OneNote & GoodNotes are my go-to apps) in your first pass. Ask for clarifications if anything is unclear!
- The Chrome inspector is your friend. Bugs are inevitable as you are writing code, and the Chrome inspector tool is probably the best debugger for web developers. Ask the staff about tips and tricks of using the inspector tool- once you get good at it, it might save you a lot of trouble later on and allow you to tackle projects more independently! Plus, you can "steal" things you like from other people's website by examining them with the inspector tool :P
- If you're stuck, ask for help. Do NOT suffer in silence! The staff are here to support you. When you have assignment-specific or conceptual questions that you can't quite figure out by searching online, post them on Ed or ask during office hours and section! There are no stupid questions.
