Benjamin Brusniak

Hi! Welcome to my website. Let me go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Benjamin Brusniak and I am currently in my final year of studying Computer Science at UW. If you would like to learn more about my background, personal interests, etc. feel free to navigate through the website using the nav bar to your left or just scroll down the page!

CSE 154 TA

Why am I a CSE 154 TA?

Because CSE 154 is fun and useful, the best combination! This class focuses not just on teaching fundamental computer science topics, but also how to use those ideas to actually build applications.

TA Experience

I have been a CSE 154 TA in the past as well as a CSE 142 TA. If you are visiting this page, you are likely a CSE 154 student, and if after the end of the quarter you are thinking about being an undergrad TA, don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions!

Technical Experience

Industry Experience

I have completed Software Engineering internships at Oracle, Amazon, and Microsoft. My work has generally covered application and/or services development.

Research Experience

From Fall 2020 to Spring 2021 I worked with a post doc in Professor Reinecke's WildLab. I used a lot of the skills I learned in CSE 154 during that time as I worked primarily on a Google Chrome extension using html, css, and javascript.

Technical Clubs

I participated in UW's Impact++ Club for two years volunteering as both a project manager and software developer on technical projects to benefit non-profit organizations and open source teams.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that we traded Russell Wilson. I miss 2014.
