About me:

Hi! I'm Kathryn, and I can't wait to meet you all this quarter! I'm a CS major, and live north of campus in Edmonds where I am surrounded by trees and frequently trapped by snow. This is my favorite class at UW, and I hope over the next ten weeks it becomes yours, too :)

In my spare time, I like to read, skateboard, and fail to identify birds
I went to high school in southern California, but grew up mostly on the east coast
I speak decent Spanish (and poor German)

Learn the linters: spending some time figuring out what each of the linter errors mean will help you tremendously with debugging. One of the most frustrating moments in this class is trying to understand why something is failing the linter!
Submit like it's a competition: As a student, I got into the habit of pushing my code every time I made even a few minor changes. Once you know how to interpret the linter results, they become an excellent guideline for your next steps.
Satisfaction guaranteed: ask staff for help! It's our job. We get paid for it and everything. And trust that once upon a time, we were crying over whatever problem you're having, too.
