learn a little about me!

• My full name is Donovan Kong, in case you were ever interested.
• I'm pre-sciences right now :( but I'm hoping to apply to ACMS or even CS!
• I really love the outdoors! I started hiking this last summer and absolutely fell in love with it.
• Traveling is one of my favorite things to do! I can talk about it for hours on end probably. I'm really not sure if I enjoy hiking or traveling more. Maybe traveling.
• Some of my favorite shows to watch include Grey's Anatomy, House MD, and The Good Doctor. You can probably tell that I love medical dramas!

tips for success in cse154!

• Don't start your assignments late! You've probably heard this a billion times by now, but it's true! Starting late will only put more pressure on you!
• Go over the spec before you start, as you're implementing a specific thing, and after you finish! I've gotten points taken off for not double-checking my work and you don't want the same thing to happen to you too!
• Have fun with the class! There are a ton of opportunities to exercise your creative muscles through the creative projects and they can allow you to build your skills too!
• Take advantage of office hours! They're a great way to get help on something you're stuck on and you can also get to know the course staff as well!

Japan is probably my second favorite country that I have ever visited! I'm a big fan of traditional Japanese culture (think Samurai and tea ceremonies), and so being able to see a bunch of historical landmarks in Tokyo was a super fun experience for me!
