Marina Wooden

Hello!

Welcome to my page, and welcome to CSE 154! My name is Marina and I'm a sophomore majoring in Informatics. Some of my hobbies are sewing, drawing, and (of course) building websites! I adored this class when I took it, and I adore it even more now that I TA for it. Hopefully, you'll feel the same way :-)

Advice

Do not wait until the last minute!

There's a reason you've heard this 1,000 times, but especially in this class, do not procrastinate!! Waiting until the very last moment to complete your assignment could lead to you not being able to get help as soon as you'd like, and it could take longer for autograder tests to pass!

Read the spec AND the code quality guide!

There's a lot to read, I know, but sometimes issues in your code can be easily clarified by looking in the code quality guide or spec. If you're not sure about how to implement something, see if you can get some hints from the spec.

Go crazy on your CPs

In my opinion, hands-on learning is the best way to learn almost anything. That being said, definitely experiment with new things on your CPs, even things that you might think are beyond your skill level.
