Hello! My name is Shawn Cho and I am a second year Computer Science major. I took this class last fall and now I am a TA! I was born in Seoul Korea and moved to Washington when I was 8. I love traveling, snowboarding, tennis, and playing video games! I am also very bad at designing things, hence the boring black and white color scheme :(
I really enjoyed CSE 154 because I felt that I could use the things I learned in class in other places. This class unlocked a lot of cool things I could do, including making a website portfolio and making a cool website for Hackathons. I also enjoyed how the Creative Projects gave us so much room for creativity which is unfortunately pretty rare in the STEM field.
Throughout the class, there will be moments when you are in both stages! When you have are on the right side, ask for help! Come to office hours, post on Ed, and email your TA's! We are here for you :) Also, a large part of programming is Google-ing. Web Development has lots of amazing sources online, so feel free to use them! (Don't copy code and cite sources ofcourse)
