Read the spec when it comes out! Ideally start the assignment early too, but hey, it's hard for me to do that as well. But if you at least read the spec early, your mind will be thinking about the assignment and you can form your thoughts earlier.
Don't skip section! Section is where you will get practice with the concepts from lecture. Also, us TA's are there to answer all the questions you might have. It is the best place to get more personal attention with the material.
Don't be shy to come to WPL! We are here to help you. It is definitely important to be able to solve problems on your own, but it is extremely normal to be stuck. So when that happens, we are here to support you.
