When I took this course, I started with a music website for my creative project. Half-way through the course, I realized that I was just meeting bare minimum for requirements and lost a lot of interest. It was then that I decided to create this website. It was silly and required a lot of work, especially since I only had a week, but I was able to get through it because I was much more invested in this website than my previous idea where I just fulfilled minimum requirements. If you are not enjoying your creative project, consider changing it to something that you can enjoy.
This is one of my favorite websites because it is a simple solution to a problem I saw in my community. As an operations coordinator for Camp Kesem, I saw that our songbook was outdated and hard to find. I designed this website to fix that. The website is easy to use, accessible on mobile devices, and improves on the design of our previous songbook, which was just a google doc. I was able to customize it to my chapter of Camp Kesem and it now is being used to teach new members. I made this using only the concepts I learned in 154, and the skills learned in this courses apply to a number of other problems as well.
This is a really simple game that I created based on a workshop I attended. I was unable to attend the full workshop, but I pieced this website together using what I saw and using skills I learned in 154, then added some features, like the pause button and leaderboard, to complete the game. It's by no means perfect but it was fun.
