Some Helpful (Maybe?) Advice

CSE 154 is an amazing and intriguing course, but at times you might feel overwhelmed and intimidated by the course load, which basically assures that you are on the right track. This course is unlike the introductory (14X) courses. There is more to learn on your own. The assignments are created to give the best web development experience to make you ready to make cool things for the internet. This mean, the assignments will have a strong grading rubric and will have tricky components, which are being assigned to you give you guys a run for your tuition fee.

Now let me introduce you to your new best friends, all the TA's and Google. For the most part throughout this class, all you need to do is ASK QUESTIONS. Web development is all about that urge to know - "Yo! how the heck is that thing developed?." And I'll be more than happy to answer all your questions. In this class, we encourage you to question and find your answer yourselves first as well. THe Internet is full of answers, all you have to do is figure out which answers are the right ones.

Nevertheless, I hope to have an amazing quarter teaching you guys and hope to see you guys in class and WPL often. Also, FYI, Make sure you come to the Sections and Labs regularly.
