This form will work with recent versions of Netscape, but may not work with early versions, or with some other Web browsers. In particular, it does not work with Microsoft Internet Explorer older that version 4.0. The problem is with the "Browse" button at the end of the section called "Give us your C program." You will need to take your files to a system with Netscape and do the turn-in there.

3. Give us your C++ program file.

• If necessary, select the right tab setting for your program (see note below).
• The simplest thing is just to type in your complete file path, if you're sure of it, such as "A:\myprog.c" (of course, leave out the quotation marks.) The file you supply should have exactly the same filename as requested below. The copy of your file we receive will be renamed automatically, so if the names do not match, we may be unable to compile your project and you will lose points. Make sure that your program compiles and runs using the filenames below before you turn it in.
• Instead of typing the file name, you can Click the "Browse..." button below.
• If you "Browse," a dialog box will appear. Use it to locate your program. When you have located your .cpp or .h file, double-click its name,or click Open. The dialog box should go away, and your program's name should appear in the field to the left of the "Browse..." button.

Note: if you do not see a "Browse" button at the right end of the lines above, it means your Web browser doesn't support the "file upload" feature. You won't be able to use this form. Possible solutions: take your files to a machine with Netscape (such as in the IPL) and do the turn-in there, or acquire a Web browser which suppports file upload.

Note about tabs: By default, tab characters in your file will align at regular column intervals in the Receipt you receive after submitting this form. If your indentation looks messed up, then click the "Back" button in your browser, change the tab setting pull-down menu above, and try again. The default is 4 in MSVC and 8 in some other compilers.
