CSE 142 Mailing Addresses

You will have two ways in which to stay in touch with the staff and your classmates. For general class discussion on the lectures, homework, etc. you will use the newsgroup uwash.class.cse142.bboard. If you do not already know how to use newsgroups such as this, here are some instructions for reading the news with pine (several other ways to read the news are available, but this is one of the simplest).

For smaller group discussions, such as correspondence with those who use the same type of computer that you do, you should use the mailing lists below. You should read about how to subscribe to the mailing lists sometime during the first week of class. All students should subscribe to cse142-announce. This will be our primary means of sending you important, late- breaking news.
