CSE/ENGR 142: Winter 1999Instructions for Examinations |
There will be in-class exams - closed book, closed notes, no calculators permitted. You will not need any paper of your own, but you will need to bring a Scantron form and a couple of #2 pencils. In addition to the machine-graded questions (multiple choice questions), there will be some programming problems.
The first midterm exam is scheduled for ????. All material covered in the course up to that point is included, unless otherwise announced. The test will be approximately 45 minutes in length.
The second midterm exam is scheduled for ????. Like the first mid-term, all material covered in the course up to that point is included, unless otherwise announced. The test will be approximately 45 minutes in length.
The final exam is scheduled for March 17, 1999. It will be held in Kane 130 , at the following times :
Lecture A (9:30 lecture): 10:30 Kane 130 (note
correction; was Kan 120)
Lecture B (11:30 lecture): 12:30 Kane 130 (note correction;
was Kan 120)
It will not be possible to give the final exam on any other day. If you cannot make the time shown above for your section, you can ask the instructor (by e-mail) for permission to take it at the other time.
The final exam will be approximately 100 minutes in length. All material covered in the course will be included, although the emphasis will be on material covered since the previous test.
