Now there is another way for you to get help with 142. The Virtual TA is holding virtual office hours. If you need help and cannot take advantage of the other help resources (TAs, Consultants, Profs) you can contact the Virtual TA for near-immediate feedback.
The Virtual TA will be holding office hours at the time listed above. Generally, if an assignment is due Sunday, the VTA will be available Saturday, one day earlier. During that time you may contact the virtual TA through any of the contact methods listed above. The VTA is guaranteed to be there and will respond to you on a first come first serve basis. The VTA will not be available to answer questions at any other time than that listed above.
A group of qualified graduate and undergraduate students has volunteered to offer 142 some additional help. They will check email, the newsgroup and IM constantly during the virtual office hour and respond back to you as soon as possible (given the current queue). Basically you get immediate feedback, which isn't always available from the normal channels. You can get the same sort of help that you would from your quiz section TA.
