Hi, I’m Nathan! I grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, then moved to Charlottesville, VA for college. I earned my B.A. in Math and Computer Science, my M.C.S. in Computer Science, and my Ph.D. in Computer science all from the University of Virginia (UVA). I remained at UVA as teaching faculty for 6 years before joining UW in autumn 2023. This is my second year teaching in the Allen School. When I’m not teaching I enjoy baking, crocheting, water skiing, and gardening. Please ask me about my cross-country road trip with my spouse (Sarah) and dog (Bucky), how we baked ~1000 cookies in one day in our home kitchen, the relationship between math and crochet, my summer in a fisheries lab, or anything else that’s on your mind!

Hi everyone, I’m Arohan! I’m a second-year majoring in computer science. In my free time, I enjoy playing poker, listening to podcasts, and playing/watching basketball. I look forward to meeting you all!

Hey everyone! I’m Josh and I’m a 4^th year from San Jose, CA, studying Math and CS. I’ve been TAing CSE 123 since it was introduced into our curriculum, but every quarter brings something new and exciting! I’m looking forward to meeting you all. Aside from intro, I’ve also TAed for CSE 373, one of our data structures and algorithms courses.
