Hi, I’m Nathan! I grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, then moved to Charlottesville, VA for college. I earned my B.A. in Math and Computer Science, my M.C.S. in Computer Science, and my Ph.D. in Computer science all from the University of Virginia (UVA). I remained at UVA as teaching faculty for 6 years before joining UW in autumn 2023. This is my first year teaching in the Allen School. When I’m not teaching I enjoy baking, crocheting, water skiing, and gardening. Please ask me about my cross-country road trip with my spouse (Sarah) and dog (Bucky), how we baked ~1000 cookies in one day in our home kitchen, the relationship between math and crochet, my summer in a fisheries lab, or anything else that’s on your mind!

Hey everyone, my name is Andras and I’m a Sophomore student here at UW. I grew up just 25 minutes north of campus in Bothell, Washington. In my free time I enjoy watching the Seahawks, playing guitar, working out, and listening to Gunna. Really looking forward to meeting all of you!

Hi everyone, my name is Ben and this will be my 6^th quarter TA-ing and my 2^nd for CSE 123. Outside of school, I enjoy going to Dave and Busters, drinking 3.2 liters of water per day, and buying Lego sets. Furthermore, I dabble in geocaching, running, and watching the Chicago Bulls lose.
