Announcements

The final exam will be one hour long. It will be given in our usual classroom, Tuesday June 8, 1999 at 2:30. It will be comprehensive and short-answer.

Part II of Project 4 is due in lab Thursday June 3^rd.

Part I of Project 4 is due in lab Thursday May 27^th.

Assignment 5 must be completed by Lab on Thursday May 20^th.

Parts 3.1-3.4 of Project 3 are due in Lab on May 13^th. The remaining Project's components are due in Lecture on May 19^th. These components will use the standard "turn-in" with printout and floppy.

The quiz schedule is as follows (every two weeks, on Fridays, in class): April 23^rd, May 7^th and May 21^st.

The Find Day component of project 1 is due Thrusday April 22, 1999. Printout and floppy, properly labeled, are required.

A Work Session is scheduled for Collab 2 from 5:00-9:00 on Tuesday, April 20, 1999. LS will be there from 6:00 on to answer questions.

The Zodiac component of project 1 is due Friday, April 16, 1999 in class. See Assignments, Projects, Labs for submission instructions.

There will be a short, in class quiz on Friday April 9, 1999.

I am seeking a volunteer to move from Section AB to Section AA to better balance the two sections. (Though there are enough computers in Collab 2 for both classes, they may not all be working, so it is better to have the classes balanced. Send email snyder@cs if you can change.)

Caution: This may be the coolest class you ever take at UW
