Lab #4 Altering images with GIMP

Overview

In this lab, you will use GIMP to alter a photo and create a fake image that looks real.

There are two goals in doing this:

1. Gain some image editing skills.

2. Become more savvy about trusting information you find on the web by experiencing for yourself how easy it is to create compelling misinformation.

You'll also learn a little more about legal use of images and how to avoid violating copyright laws.

The first step will help you become familiar with GIMP
