Errata for Fluency with Information Technology

Because of a missing font, the Autumn 2000 version of Fluency with Information Technology contains an

error that could lead to confusion. The missing symbol, which should be shown as EC was mistakenly

shown as a semicolon ; The visual form for this symbol is shown in Table 4, page 45, row 2, column 12.

 

The following places in the text should be corrected:

Page 39, Table 2, the symbol in the lower right hand corner of Table 2(b) should be "EC".

Page 39, last paragraph, first sentence: This sentence should end "… unfamiliar character, EC."

Page 40, the symbol below the first pair of "sixes" should be "EC".

Page 40, third paragraph, first sentence should end "… since the EC takes up the boxcars symbol."

Page 40, third paragraph, fourth sentence should end "… because ECEC could also be treated as another escape.
