Lab Availability

All PMP students have full (24 x 7) access to the instructional labs located in Sieg Hall 232 and 329.

Java

The latest version of Sun's JDK is available at: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/download.html.

Visual Studio .NET

A free version of VS .NET is available free of charge through UW CSE MSDNAA program. Visit http://www.cs.washington.edu/lab/sw/MSDNAA/ms-sw.html to get the software.
Note: If you have a slow connection you should consider burning a CD: a frustrating experience has been reported over a dial-up modem.
Change your password (they are auto-generated so there are many reasons why you want to do this)!

  • click whether you Agree or Not to the licensing agreement
  • on the following page click 'Get the software'
  • on the following page, click 'LOG IN' on the left-hand column
  • on the following page, click 'Can't remember your password?'
  • enter your @cs.washington.edu email address
  • click "Go Find It"
  • and your login info will be sent to your CS account
  • additional problems should be sent to ms-sw-admin@cs.washington.edu
