The course will introduce a toolkit of modern algorithmic techniques. Topics include Randomized Algorithms, Average Case Analysis, Hashing, Algorithms for data streams, High dimensional searching, Linear Algebraic Techniques. The course will draw on recent offerings of CSEP 521 by Karlin and Lee.Class Meetings
