Perform a pilot study in which one subject performs your experiment.
Turn in a short (no more than 1 page) discussion of what you learned from running your pilot experiment. What went well? What was unexpected? What do you plan to change as a result of the pilot experiment?
Then, make all the changes that you need as a result of this pilot study, and repeat with a second participant.
