CSE590O: Deep Molecules: Molecular Sensing and Machine Learning
Description: New sensing technologies can collect molecular data at unprecedented scales in areas ranging from genomics and medicine, to synthetic biological and chemical systems. Deep learning is increasingly being used to interpret these complex molecular data sets, and even enable the design of novel synthetic molecular systems, in ways otherwise impossible. This seminar will focus on these new machine learning applications in molecular tech development by reviewing the latest research papers in this exciting and rapidly evolving intersection.
