CSE590H: HCI Seminar
The Best of HCI
The HCI seminar this quarter will be reading papers from five HCI conferences more specialized than CHI,
with a focus on Best Papers or impactful historical papers. We will spend two weeks on papers from each of the
UIST, CSCW, UbiComp, ASSETS, and VIS conferences. The intent of this seminar is to give new HCI students,
and anyone else interested in HCI, an understanding of the flavor of each conference.
Participants: please read the paper in advance of the seminar each
week. We'll also be soliciting volunteers to present each week.
