Extra credit opportunities may be provided in A4 or A5. Successfully completing the extra credit will result in, at most, a 0.1 bump to your final grade.
Deadlines primarily exist to help the class run smoothly. However at times things are not in our control. To account for the stochasticity of life we provide 5 late days that can be used at your discretion for any deadline except the project poster presentation. (Late days also do not apply to the optional W credit program.) A maximum of 2 late days can be used for any 1 assignment. Weekends count as 1 day, so if an assignment is due on 11:59pm on Friday, it can be extended to 11:59pm on Sunday with one late day. Furthermore, if a university holiday falls on a Monday and an assignment is due on the preceding Friday, it can be extended until 11:59 pm on Monday with one late day. After exhausting your late days, each submission will lose 25% credit for every extra day it is late.
