VWT97V01.BAS Terminal Program Notes:

This program is designed for use with the DR1004-DK and DR1005-DK development
kits.

Here are the new features:

  22.2 kbps RF data rate

  19.2 kbps PC data rate

  CTRL-N allows node address to be reset from the terminal program

  CTRL-T invokes the telemetry mode (set at both nodes) for sending
  packets quickly without acknowledgment. If the FCS shows an error
  the packet is ignored, else it is displayed. Good for repeating measurements 
  such as temperature, etc.
  
  F1 sends a long packet automatically
  
  Engineering window now shows RX ON "N", where N is the retry the
  packet was received error free.
  
  Error trapping added to secondary commands (battery test, etc.) which
  suspend when an incoming packet is detected.
  
  ESC provides abort/reset for the SEND PACKET mode
  
Set up note:

  VWT97.CFG has a default "TO" address of 2. Remember to update via the
  set up screen <ALT-S> at node 2 so that node 2 will talk TO node 1. Also
  check com port. If you get the "not responding" message when you start the
  program, press <ESC> to get to the main program and then <ALT-S> to get
  to the set up screen so you can select your com port. after leaving the
  set up screen use <ALT-A> to reread the address of your VWDK node.
