Tips
- START EARLY!
- Don't be afraid to manipulate UVs to make the texture fit your model better.
- Get in the habit of isolating lights when rendering to see how exactly a specific light is affecting the scene.
- Changing the light color drastically can also help you see what a specific light is doing in the scene.
- Fog takes a long time to render so you might want to work on that last.
- Be sure to save early and often.
Turn-in
- Maya file .ma or .mb for your completed Environment Scene.
- All texture files in 1024 by 1024 .tga, except for the ground
texture which will be 2048 by 2048. Do not turn in any .psd or any
other file type.
- A rendered image of your final scene at frame 60 using the
render_cam. Do not turn in a render from the persp or any other
camera!
Grading Criteria
