The Glass Story
... The sum is bigger than than the parts
Story Armature: The sum is bigger than than the parts OR Two heads are
better than one.
1) Once upon a time two artists, one older and one a young apprentice,
worked side by side in a glass shop creating functional objects.
2) Everyday, the two artists created these pieces to be sold to the
public. The young artist was bored with the work and none of it sold
though.
3) Then, one day, the young artist breaks away from the original mold, and
creates a new piece that has no function but is much more beautiful in
form that the old one.
4) And because of this the older artist takes the younger artists piece
off the shelf and shows the younger artist how it is non-functional.
5) And because of this the older artist begins to work with the young
artist on a piece to show him what he could do better. And the younger
artist in turn shows the older artist what he's been missing in his work.
(The blow-off)
6) Until finally a customer comes in and offers them big money for the
item they both hate but accidentally created together.
7) And ever since that day that enjoy working together to create and
sell massive amounts of beautiful and functional art.
