INTRO100	Fireworks shown and then a tilt down to show a wide shot of his house, which shows new years festivities and a table set up for dinner. The kitchen is seen through an open door.

MEI100	Medium shot as Yao opens the door and Mei (his date) is there smiling.
	Mei gives Yao a hug. He squeezes her too tightly.
MEI200	Wide shot as Yao pulls a chair out for Mei and sits her down and walks inside.
MEI300	Yao brings out the appetizer and also sits down. Fireworks go off.
MEI400	Medium close up of as Mei points out the fireworks to Yao.
MEI500	Close up of Yao, his eyes reflecting the fireworks in the sky. His face lights up with an idea.
	Wide shot as he grabs a hanging firework and sticks it on Mei’s plate.
MEI600	Close up of Mei’s face. She laughs in a friendly way.
MEI700	Medium shot as Mei tastes the food, looks overwhelmed by the space, smiles with her eyes watering, and pushes the plate out of the way. She leans in to kiss Yao, but his eye’s have followed the motion of the plate and he doesn’t notice. He looks worried and he runs in to get the next dish.
MEI800	Close up of Mei’s face looking disappointed.

MAIN100	MS as he comes out with the main course, grabbing fireworks as he enters and sticks them in the food.
MAIN200	He sets the food on the table and lights the fireworks.
MAIN300	CU of Mei’s face as she looks concerned and eats cautiously and she leans as far away from the dish as possible.
MAIN400	Seeing her lean away, he goes to get dessert.
CAKE1-1200
CAKE100	Medium shot as he runs into the kitchen. He brings out a cake completely covered in firecrackers.
CAKE200	Close up of Mei’s eyes getting really big and frightened. Deathly frightened.
CAKE300	Medium shot of Yao lighting the first firecracker. She puts her hand on his shoulder in fear and shakes her head. He nods and points at the cake. He is oblivious to her fear.

CAKE500	Close up of Mei’s face frozen in fear.

CAKE1200	Yao is left standing, looking pathetic with cake dripping off his face. Transition to black.

SORRY100	Yao is in front of Mei’s door with a huge pile of flowers. Because of the flowers, he must ring the doorbell with his foot.
SORRY200	Mei opens the door and looks concerned.
SORRY300	Yao sees her reaction, and tosses all but one rose away and hands it to her.
SORRY400	Mei accepts the flower and she gives him a kiss.
