CSE 415: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
The University of Washington, Seattle, Spring 2002
April 1

Be sure to log into INFACT-FORUM and post your reply to the first question by Tuesday, April 2, at noon. Instructions for logging in are given in the Assignment 1 web page. (Missing the posting deadline will result in lost points for the assignment!)

Please subscribe to the mailing list! See the first message in the mailing list archive for instructions.

April 2

Change in TA office hours and locations: Zach and/or Pat will hold office hours in the Math Sciences lab (Communications B022) on Wednesdays 11:30pm-12:20pm and Thursdays 3:30pm-4:20pm. Office hours on Mondays 11:30am-12:20pm and Tuesdays 11:30am-12:20pm will be in Sieg 226a. The lab is more convenient if you need help with Lisp debugging. (Note the date change from Friday to Wednesday.)

When posting your responses in INFACT-FORUM, please be careful to "reply" to the original question (if you're posting your initial ideas), or, if you want, to your group-members' posts (while you're discussing your collective answer) -- don't start a new topic...

April 5

See new web pages for Unix resources, Getting an account and logging in, and Getting started with Lisp. That last page will be continually updated.

April 6

The next Lisp workshop is scheduled for:

  • Monday April 8, 2:30pm-3:20pm, B027 Communications

Warning! Hilbert will be down for a bit of emergency maintenance Friday April 12 starting at 9am. It should be up by 11am. We're trying to get a backup location for clisp, in case this happens again. During this time, you can use the Lisp applet.

Another Lisp workshop is scheduled for:

  • Saturday April 13, 2pm-4pm, B027 Communications
April 14

New groups are ready! (Old postings are available via the "(old forum)" link.)
