That's the whole chapter 2, except "advanced topics".

Week of 22Jan2014 : Read Cooper and Torczon Chapter 3.1 through 3.3.

Week of 29Jan2014 : Read Cooper and Torczon Chapter 3.4 (skim last parts) and 3.5.

Weeks of mid February:
Chapter 7 (Code Shape) we've talked about pretty much all of this,
one way or another, although haven't talked about code generation for machines with predicated execution.

Weeks of 03Mar and later:
Sections 8.1 through 8.4.2; 8.6.1 (data flow equations); 8.7;
Sections 9.1; 9.2.2;
Sections 11.1 through 11.4 (instruction selection).
