ericfan@cs.washington.eduHi there! I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from UW and just obtained a master's degree in Computer Science in the Allen School. Outside of teaching, I enjoy serving at my local church, playing badminton, and playing songs on my guitar and piano. I have a pet dog named Nemo, a small, white fluffy Bichon Poodle, who has been a joy of a companion. Feel free to reach out about my journey as an Allen School student, a book I've published about inclusion in computing education, or anything else you may want to chat about!

privas@cs.washington.eduI’m currently a third-year student and I can’t wait to be your TA for CSE 390B! I grew up in La Conner Washington, which is about an hour north of Seattle, but I was born in San Diego, California. When not doing schoolwork, I enjoy running, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding and hammocking (if you know any cool spots around UW to hang a hammock let me know!). I’m also a big fan of indie music and especially love listening to Peach Pit. If you find yourself stuck don’t hesitate to reach out for help! I’m always willing to lend a hand, even if it’s something not related to CS/UW!

Somethings I like to do are cooking and baking, eating ice cream, watching scary movies, kayaking (even though i can’t swim lol), and going out and exploring with my friends. I was born and raised just 15 minutes north of Seattle, so UW has been basically home much of my life. Outside of school, I enjoy finding food spots and spending time outdoors, with ultimate frisbee being my most recent hobby!
