Eric Fan

Hi there! I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from UW and am currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science in the Allen School. Outside of school and teaching, I enjoy spending time playing badminton or jamming on the guitar. I have a pet dog named Nemo, a small, white fluffy Bichon Poodle, who has been an absolute joy of a companion during the pandemic. Feel free to reach out about a book I've published on diversity and inclusion in CS education, my journey as an Allen School student, other activities I'm involved in, or anything else you might want to chat about!

Teaching Assistants

Ghislaine Ng

Hello! I'm currently a Senior and will be graduating this Spring so you can ask me about any CS classes that I have taken before or anything else! I enjoy painting and hanging out with friends during my free time. It will be my second-time TA-ing this class and I can't wait to get to know everyone!

Preston Rivas

I’m currently a third-year student and I can’t wait to be your TA for CSE 390B! I grew up in La Conner Washington, which is about an hour north of Seattle, but I was born in San Diego, California. When not doing schoolwork, I enjoy running, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding and hammocking (if you know any cool spots around UW to hang a hammock let me know!). I’m also a big fan of indie music and especially love listening to Peach Pit. If you find yourself stuck don’t hesitate to reach out for help! I’m always willing to lend a hand, even if it’s something not related to CS/UW!

Sean Le

Hey everyone! I'm currently going into my last quarter at UW. I grew up just north of Bellingham, and I've been living near Ballard for the last couple of years. I love anything sports related, whether that's watching or playing, and my favorite sport is basketball since I've played it for as long as I can remember. Some of my other favorite things outside of school are hanging out with friends and traveling. I'm really looking forward to getting to know all of you throughout the quarter! Feel free to reach out and ask any questions you have, even if they're not CS/UW related!
