This page contains links to some old CSE 374 exams. Different offerings of the course covered slightly different things and you will not be tested on material we did not cover this quarter. This is also not a guarantee that our exams will look similar. For the spring of 2021, in particular, we continuing to adapt to remote learning by decreasing the reliance on large exams. The midterm is replaced by smaller, regular, check-in 'quizzes'. The final will look somewhat different and be a smaller portion of the final grade.
Suggestion: Reviewing previous exams is a wonderful way to test your understanding of the material. Review the material as though preparing for an exam, and then use these past examples as a way to evaluate how much you are able to answer without referring to notes or other references.
There will be no midterm for the spring 2020 quarter. These sample exams may be used as additional study materials.
Old midterms:
This year's final exam will be on-line, and may be taken over a period of time. You may refer to notes or test answers. It will be due on June 9.
The final may cover any topics that we've discussed in class and homeworks throughout the quarter.
