Announcements


 
21 May. On Wednesday, May 28, the class will meet in Collaboratory 2, in OUGL, a computer lab, to work on Perl programs, and on Wednesday, June 4, we will again meet in Collaboratory 2, but this time for project demonstrations. Be prepared to give your demo using one of the PCs there.
 
16 May. On Monday, May 19, the class will meet in MGH 030, the computer lab, to work on Prolog programs.
 
12 May. The second midterm will be on Wednesday, May 14. There will be a review session Monday, May 12 at 3:30 in Sieg 134.
 
16 April. The first midterm exam will be on Monday, April 21. Bring a standard answer sheet ("Scantron form") and some sharpened number 2 pencils. The list of topics to be covered has been updated today. (See the Quizzes and Exams page on this website.)
 
8 April. Steve will be out of town April 8-11 and won't be holding office hour on Friday. Jed will be presenting the lecture slides on Wednesday and Friday.
 
7 April. The introductory Java sessions are now scheduled for: (1) Monday, April 14 from 3:30 to 5:00 in MGH 30, and (2) Wednesday, April 16 from 3:30 to 5:00 in CMU B027.
 
4 April. On Monday, April 7, the class will meet in MGH 030, instead of the usual location, to take advantage of the computers there.
