Textbook

Rosen, Discrete Mathematics and Its Applications, McGraw-Hill. You may use either the 6th or 7th edition of the text. The 7th edition is available from the bookstore and there are multiples sources for used or new copies of the 6th edition, which may be considerably less expensive.

Midterm Exam

The midterm will be Friday, May 10 in MGH 389. Be careful to note the different location. Please look at sample questions from old midterms which also include the tables of equivalences and inference rules that you will be given during the test. Solutions to the sample midterm are also available here.

Final Exam

The final exam will be Monday, June 10, 2:30-4:20 pm in MGH 389 which is the same room as the midterm. This is the regularly scheduled time from the UW Exam Schedule. There will be a review session Sunday, June 9 at 4:00 pm in EEB 125. Check out the list of topics for the final exam. There is also a collection of sample questions from past final exams.
