Due Wednesday, January 7, at the beginning of class. Worth one (1) point!

Please turn in a 8 1/2" by 11" piece of paper at the beginning of class with answers to a subset of the following questions. The more questions you answer, the better, but please be sure to answer questions 1 and 2.

  1. Please attach a current picture of yourself. Your i.d. card photo is fine, but something more interesting or recent, particularly a picture that actually resembles you these days would be great!
  2. What is your name? What do you want me to call you?
  3. What CSE courses (or closely related courses) have you taken?
  4. How would you describe your familiarity with Linux? (Feel free to make up an answer or use one of these: Isn't that a cartoon character? I've heard of it. I've used it for 20 minutes. I use it all the time. I recompile the kernel for fun.)
  5. How would you describe your familiarity with C?
  6. What are two foods that you like but that would not want to have in the same dish?
  7. What do you hope to get out of 303? (For "extra credit" on this zero-point question, how well does this match the goals in the syllabus?)
  8. What concerns do you have about 303?
  9. What is something about you I probably would never know without reading the answer to this question?
  10. Anything else?
