CSE 190 - TECHNOLOGY & STORY SEMINAR - AUTUMN 2007

Course Description:

This seminar focuses on the potential of digital technologies to enhance the effectiveness of story creation and the experience of visual storytelling. Seminar participants will investigate the qualities and techniques that result in captivating, content driven, enduring stories. Alternative and unique storytelling methods for the creation and dissemination of digitally assisted stories will be explored.

Visiting speakers may include those from the game/film and animation industries, photography and vision, R and D for graphics and/or animation, augmented and virtual reality, toy companies, professional storytellers, and anyone else who has a unique perspective to offer the participants in the class. Studio work is required.
