Introduction


Excel logo In the previous lab, you learned about Microsoft Excel, a spreadsheet application which allows you to store data in a grid of rows and columns.
Access icon In this lab, you'll learn about Microsoft Access, a database application which allows you to store data in tables which can be linked to each other:

You can get a FREE copy of Access for use on your home computer:

(the login method is broken for those enrolled in INFO 100. Try e-mailing ihelp@washington.edu requesting a MSDNAA username and password; mention that you are taking INFO 100)
