Extra Credit Paper Topics

Earn up to 25 extra-credit points per paper. Write a two-page paper (typed, double-spaced, 500 words). You may research these topics in Fluency or on the Internet. Be sure to credit your sources. Include a bibliography that cites your sources. Enclose any direct quotations in quotes. Write the paper in your own words. We have a zero-tolerance policy on plagiarism.

You may turn in more than one extra credit paper. Upload each paper here.

• Explain how the following are connected: binary, bytes, hexadecimal, RGB codes, and IP addresses.
• Describe the differences between traditional JavaScript and DOM scripting.
• Describe the Fair Use concept and rules as it relates to copyright law.
• Describe how the FIT course could be made more relevant for your community (major, age group, ethnicity, heritage, identity, technical background, gender, etc.). You can research this topic or just include your own good ideas.
